The Fuel cut off switch on a 93' Ford Escort is above the passenger side rear tire. Just look in your trunk. On the right side there will be a removable plastic panel. The switch is right in there. It's the black thing with a couple wires running to it.
You push the button on the top of it down to reset it.
how do you reset a fuel pump switch on a 1993 ford tempo
In the fuel tank
The fuel pump in a 1993 Escort is located in the fuel pump. There should be an access plate under the rear seat to get to the top of the fuel tank for pump removal.
Try in one of the kick panels inside the car. Think you will find a hole to put your finger in to reset it.Hope this helps
There is none.
check the fuel pump reset butten
My 93 Escort GT had the fuel cut-off switch in the trunk, driver's side.
behind the steering wheel on the speedometer for the car
you push the button down.
were the fuel line comes out of the tank running to the throtle body
located at the driver side kick panel,
It either has no compression, no fuel or no spark at the right time.
In a 1997 Ford Escort sedan : The fuel pump shut off switch / inertia switch ( with the reset button on top ) Is located directly under the hole in the passenger side trunk trim * it is near the back seat
On a 1997 Ford Escort : The ELECTRIC fuel pump is INSIDE the fuel tank
you push the red reset button on the inertia switch
It's fuel injected so it doesn't have a carburetor
Idle speed control or Idle air control.
the fuel pump filter is attached to the fuel pump itself. the fuel pump is located in the gas tank.
In the drivers footwell behind the kick panel ( I assume there is an access hole )
the fuel reset switch is directly behind the glove box, to reset it you just push the button on the top of the switch.
Shold be mounted to the passenger side firewall.
If you have an Escort that is not a GT you have a 1.9 liter single overhead camshaft with 2 valves per cylinder which is fuel injected.
Yes if it is popped up your fuel pump will not wrk
