Follow the fuel line from the gas tank toward the front of the truck. The Fuel filter will be mounted to the inside of the frame. It is a canister a little smaller than an old tin salt shaker. To make changing it a little easier leave it attached to the frame while you disconnect the fuel line from each end.
In the gas tank
should just be one on the driver side frame rail about halfway mark
Fuel filter on a 1994 ford is in the Left frame rail under the driver or back a little bit.
on the frame under the driver's door
What year? 2001
Probably in the fuel tank
threaded into the front of the carb. Follow the fuel line from the fuel pump to the carb.
most ford truck fuel filters are on the frame , drivers side near the gas tank.
If you follow the fuel line from the fuel tank to the engine, you will find the fuel filter.
fuel pump connector hot wire
That would be a bad fuel pump in that tank
The 2010 F150's do not have a conventional, replaceable fuel filter. I just bought a 2010, and the Owners Manual states that the filter is now in the gas tank, and Ford claims it is a "lifetime" filter. I think I will be tapping into my fuel line to add a replaceable filter. I don't like the idea of never changing a fuel filter. If it's designed to never clog, it isn't filtering enough.
