Fuel filter is located by the passenger side on the back of the car, where the main gas line is there's a 1/2 inch screw, but just unscrew it just until it's quite loose, don't unscrew it completely because then... Guess what???? You would be spending more time trying to put it back once you put in the new filter in then it would really take you to set the new filter in. It's awful!!!!! and frustrating too trust me on this!!! Once you get to have the filter completely loose just take one end of the line off the filter and slide it off. Mainly as the gas flow goes always from left to right and it will come off it's base. Once it's off you can take the other end of the right side line off. Put in the new one and screw it back tightly then hook up both gas lines. And you be on your way to the nearest Donkin Donut... Elyunque000@Yahoo.com
870 stand for the 850 en V70classic series. There isn't a Volvo 870 as such. Volvo enthousiasts just use the number 870 when they are referring to a Volvo 850 '92-'97 or a V70(classic) first generation made until 2000.
95-97 are very interchangeable. Pretty much all body parts should be. Engine parts depend on which models your are changing between. Your question is too broad, try narrowing it down. What parts did you have in mind?
how to change fuel filter on a97 grand am
The fuel filter is inside the fuel tank, so you have to drop the tank to get to it.
Depending on the year, for 1996/97 there are fuses at #4 and #8 that control the immobizer
To the rear of the fuel tank.

the answer is no to that i have a 97 wrangler se and when i went to tune it up i was told that the fuel filter is inside the tank
It could be your engine mount or you might need an alignment.
It means that you are either low on water or there is a problem in the radiator system hope this helps
It is a T40. To remove the housing you first have to remove the power steering pump.
The filter is part of the fuel pump/strainer/pressure regulator assembly in the fuel tank.
