It is located in the tank along with the fuel sending assembly. According to GM, it is unserviceable. To GM, this means that the fuel filter isn't serviced during normal routine service intervals. However, to the consumer, it doesnt mean that it never will have to be serviced. In the event of pumping bad gas, or a clog from just normal use over alot of miles, it will have to be replaced.
Unfortunately, the fuel filter will be pricey when you have to have it serviced.
The Chevy TrailBlazer fuel filter from the year 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 is located under the car, on the driver side. The fuel filter is located near the fuel tank. Remove the cap on the pipe that is attached to the fuel filter to release the remaining pressure on the pipe by pushing in with one screwdriver on the pipe tab.
