On a gas engine you have to remove the fuel tank and, the pump from the tank. The filter is ust a screen on the bottom of the pump, Dodge doesn't have a service interval for the gas engine.
On the diesel engine you unscrew the filter housing on the driver side of the engine
Start at the fuel tank, and follow the fuel line to the engine. You will find the filter, if it is there.
The fuel filter on 1998 Dodge trucks, Dakota, and full size trucks and vans have the fuel filter located inside the fuel tank, It is a non replacable filter.
The fuel filter is located in the gas tank.
gas tank
There is no serviceable fuel line filter on your truck. The only fuel filter is part of the fuel pump assembly in the fuel tank. Like a screen strainer. I had owned a 1998 Dodge Durango with the same setup.
Dodge does not use inertia/reset switches
It is part of the pump module in the tank.
A 1998 Caravan was never built with a cabin filter.
Fuel filter is in the fuel tank under the fuel pump. You have to drop the tank and remove the pump assembly to change the filter.
You can't. Dodge Dakotas use an integrated fuel pump/filter/level-sending-unit module located inside the fuel tank. To change the filter, you must replace the entire fuel pump module which requires either removal of the truck boxbed or the fuel tank.
Yes it should.
The Starter is located on the passenger side of the engine. It is right next to the oil filter.
