The fuel filter for the 98 Safari is located underneath the van. It is on the drivers side about 2 feet behind the drivers door and towards the gas tank. Look up underneath the van about 1 foot from the outside edge of the van. It is strapped to the inside and above the first beam. John Texas most fuel filters for gm vehicles are located near the fuel injection rail follow the fuel lines from the tank to the engine if you don't see a fuel filter in the line. then the next place is the the tank some vehicles have fuel filters in the tank of the vehicle. my suggestion is if you can't find it get a haynes manual at a local auto parts store and it will tell you where it is and how to change it. the books cost about 15 dollars and are a great help.
