I'm not 100% sure, but on my 95 (and they haven't changed too much) the fuel line runs down the passenger side from the tank to the engine and the fuel filter is located about 1/3 of the way up the silver fuel line on its way to the engine. i just had my fuel pump replaced and they told me that the filter was in the tank with the pump, mine's a 99 SE
