Inside the fuel tank. You will need a shop manual to change it, but the basic steps are to remove the back seat cushion, open the panel underneath the seat, disconnect the wiring, pull out the pump housing which is also the filter housing, if you are going to all the trouble anyway, I would replace the pump at the same time, both items can be purchased for around $20. You should order new o-rings as well although I have reused them.
