It should be on the frame rail on the drivers side. In 2004 they moved it inside the gas tank and it is considered non-serviceable. If your truck was one of the very last 2003's that could apply to you.
Yes
There is no fuel filter on that car model.
Plugged fuel filter Plugged air filter Plugged catalytic converter Restricted exhaust (bent tail pipe)
i don't have an 05 (mine is an 03) but the fuel filter should still be in the same place. that'd be on the drivers side, inside of the frame rail, forward of the gas tank. its a little silver canister, about 4 inches long and about 2.5" in diameter. actually, i have since found out that 03 was the last yr that they placed the fuel filter in the above location. starting from 04 models the fuel filter became part of the fuel pump...inside the gas tank...sorry.
location of fuel filter 03 cts cadillac
It has a electric pump inside of the fuel tank.
GM. relocated the fuel filters in 2004 and put them inside the fuel tank. Depending on the month of 03 your truck was built it may still have the fuel filter on the driverside frame rail back were the transmission crossmember bolts to the frame. You will have to lay under the truck and look up inside the rail to see it.
Um... I would sure hope so since they are both 2003. But if you mean "will a bumper from a 03 silverado 1500 fit a 03 silverado 2500, (or the other way around)" I am not sure. It might, but the frame on the 2500 is bigger than that on a 1500.
You will need to replace the fuel pump and filter, The fuel pump is what makes the pressure.
It is incorporated into the fuel pump on that year onwards so no need to replace.
it is mounted on the drivers (left)strut tower under master cylinder and air filter box
on the 3.1 it is on top right side of engine.
