i have a 1992 Dakota 3.9 and the fuel filter is on the drivers side,under the cab located on the inside of the frame rail.some filters are located inside the fuel tank and some are on the motor,it depends on if it is fuel injected or not.buy a manuel or go to your local auto parts and they should be able to tell you.
