Along the frame, near the cab to bed line underneath.
It's on the inside fram on drivers side about where the cab and come together.
i have a 1992 dodge Dakota 4x4 and a 1989 Dakota 4x4 and the fuel pump is inside the fuel tank. both trucks have the 3.9 v6 engines.
If it is the same as a 93 dakota, there is a small cilender on the driver side of the door on the inside of your frame. Right around where your cab and bed come togther. Take off the clamps and replace.
You may have a clogged fuel line or a clogged fuel filter.
The fuel filter and lines are in front of the tank on a Dodge Shadow.
