The fuel pump is in the fuel tank and the fuel tank will have to be removed to access it. If you do not have the skill or equipment to do this properly, I suggest taking it to a shop.

you have to remove the rear seat. from there there is a rubber mat pull that back and it should all be right there.Relieve the fuel system pressure.Disconnect the negative battery cable.Remove the rear seat cushion and unplug the electrical connector from the fuel pump.Unfasten and remove the four pump cover screws and the ground strap.Unfasten the fuel tube clips and disconnect the tubes from the pump.Use a fuel pump locking ring removal tool or a brass drift and a hammer to unfasten the pump locking retaining ring.Remove the fuel pump and gasket from the tank.
