Inside the rear trunk area, there is an access panel with 4 10mm bolts. Undo these to get at the fuel tank top. Disconnect the electrical connectors. Disconnect the two fuel lines and unbolt the screws holding the top fuel plate. Then pull the whole assembly out including the fuel pump. Bleed the fuel pressure from the system first. Leave the engine running and remove the fuel pump relay the engine will stall when the fuel system looses pressure.

The fuel filter is located under the hood on the back firewall, passenger side.
The fuel pump is located in the fuel tank. There is an access plate under the carpet above the fuel tank.

The fuel pump on a 1991 Nissan 240 SX is located back by the fuel tank. It is an in-line pump, in the fuel line that runs from the gas tank to the carburetor. It is about the same size as a large soup can.

It's located on the right side strut tower about 1\2 way down.Not too bad to change and highly recommended to change often, espcially if you run it on "empty" a lot. Hope this helps you!!!
