It is right near the fuel tank. You actually have to remove the fuel tank first to get to it.

AnswerCORRECTION it is in the gas tank wich is why you have to disconnect your battery remove your filler tube, remove the two holding straps, lower the gas tank, disconnect the fuel lines and fuel pump wires, slide the gas tank from under the car then there is a ring about the size of a small coffee can that needs to spin counter clockwise you can do this with a large flat head screw driver and a hammer, once you get the ring knocked the whole way around it will release the fuel pump from the tank all you have to do is lift the fuel pump out of the tank. I recomend blowing off any and all dirt from the top of the tank before you remove the ring or the pump, so that it does not fall into the tank.then you replace just the pump and reinstall everything the same as you tore it apart.
