There are 2... A high pressure on on the front of the engine block (driver side) & the "lift pump" which sits in the tank..
On '04s there are 4 possibilities for the "lift pump" a small carter pump either (1)on the back of the fuel filter housing, (2)on a bracket next to the engine below the fuel filter housing or (3)on the frame. then they went to the (4)"in tank".
