okay, after much digging for info i found the answer to my own question. the relay is a main relay part# RZ-0067 and is a brownish orange color. it is located just under the steering colum behind the lower panel where your knees would touch if you were driving. it is held on by a 10mm screw. i hope this helps someone else. thanks to those who had this problem before me for listing your answers and not charging for it!
The fuel pump relay is located under the hood. The relay sends power to the fuel pump to keep fuel pressure up.
Could be the fuel pump, fuel pump relay or fuse
fuel pump relay is behind left hand trim panel in the wagon section
It turns the fuel pump on and off.
Chevy did not use them on there trucks. Check fuel pump pressure, fuel pump FUSE and FUEL pump relay.
check my answer
The Fuel Pump relay. Fuse's
yes
There isn't one. If your fuel pump isn't working, either your fuel pump is dead, the fuel pump relay, the fuel pump fuse.
Fuel pump relay or bad computer
You have to drop the gas tank under the car, the fuel pump is inside the gas tank.
In the main fuse box, just behind the battery. The fuel pump relay is the top right relay (when looking from the front of the car).
