The fuel pump relay switch can be found mounted to the outside of the gas tank. The relay switch is next to the fuel line.
you have to drop the fuel tank to change the pump have you tried banging the fuel tank sometimes that restarts the pump if your lucky
it is behind the fuse box under the bonnet
It is located behind the ECU (the black plastic thing just behind the car battery, it's about 6 inches x 1 inches and has a thick cable coming out of it). The Relay itself is a black plastic object with a M6 hex nut on top, and relay symbols. The Haynes manual was absolutely no use here!
A 2005 PT Cruiser does have a fuel pump relay. They have a fuel pump relay rather than a fuel pump switch. The fuel pump relay is located in the fuse box.
The main relay and the fuel pump relay are the same. Take the fuel pump relay and swap it with the main relay and see if that will help you....
If the relay is bad, then the fuel pump will not work.
Yes, it is a fuel pump relay.
The pump is on the bottom of the waher bottle a bugger to change..
Bypass the relay and if the pump works the relay is bad.
Bad relay, No power to relay, Wiring from relay to pump and our most likely problem is, the fuel pump is bad. changed it already
The fuel pump relay switch looks like the normal electric switch. The function of fuel pump relay switch is turn the fuel pump on.
