have you tried the doulbe action relay under the ecu or to the left hand side of the engine bay its a brown relay i
under the ecu.
A bad fuel pump will cause the fuel not to flow into the fuel pump. Another cause can be a leak in the fuel line.
We had ours changed today. The relay is number 106 and is situated in the fuse box under the steering wheel. It is positioned at bottom right corner. This seems to have cured the engine stalling when hot.
hi can any one help me as i have a peugeot 106 quicksilver 1.4 my fuel pump has stop working it just wont pump the fuel up but when u turn the car over and u stop turning it over u can here the fuel pump work but it just dont work it does not come on when u just turn the ignition on as it should do any idea thanks simmors2009@live.com
as far as i am aware should be 3 bar
Its on back side of injection pump (facing the engine front).
First thing is to determined where the bang came from. It may be a fuel leak. Did it catch fire or just make a loud sound? Sounds like the fuel pump's gone.
Its usually in the fuel tank attached to the fuel sender gauge, you can access it by removing the rear seat base. You will see either 1 or 2 large plastic inspection covers, remove these and you will see it
got fuel if so is the starter motor cranking the engine over if to that means battery ok so could be fuel injection pump or carb. spark plugs if petrol
