If memory serves me , remove the stereo and look for a box that has a stepped cover on it, pop the cover and there you will see 2 smaller covers , the fuel pump relay is under the top "smaller" on the left of a bigger square cover
Not from the factory because it has a mechanical fuel pump with your carburetor equipped engine
The 1973 Mustang has a mechanical fuel pump driven by the engine. It is not electric so it has no fuse.
there were 3 placements for the fuel tank in 73. behind the seat, under the bed, or saddle tanks. There is a mechanical gas pump which runs off the crankshaft of your engine and sucks gas out of your tank. In 73 they put the fuel filter after the pump so many times the pump needs replacing, if so put the fuel filter in front of the pump, it will last longer.
Modelo 73 - 2001 is rated/received certificates of: Argentina:Atp
It could be the filter ,but i had 73 chevelle with same problem.the fuel line had pin hole rust in front of tank.I replaced this &the rubber hose & solved the problem. Rplace the fuel filter but your fuel pump may be getting weak.
In the carburetor where the fuel line enters.
diesels have fuel return lines to tank selctor switch and tanks, baring ,that check o-rings on top of inj caps.sure sign is hard start in morning ,because fuel has bled off.no leak necessary as air replaces fuel allowing it to return to tank If you have fuel in the valley on top of the engine your leak maybe from the fuel booster pump leaking from the weepholes, its and easy fix about 2 hours
Barry Bonds hit 73 home runs in 2001.
The cast of Modelo 73 - 2001 includes: Fernando Belton as Ramiro Graciela Matta Emmanuel Moscoso as Manuel
you will need a computer and all the wiring to go with it, electric fuel pump in the tank and a return fuel line.
There's two 13mm bolts that hold it in, so this is an easy job. Get your 13mm wrench, some rags, and whatever tool you need to loosen the hose clamps, and... 1. Unhook the battery. Gasoline is very, very flammable. 2. Remove the two 13mm nuts that are holding the fuel pump in, and lift it off the studs. 3. Put the new fuel pump where the old one was, and bolt it in. 4. Move the hoses from the old pump to the new one. Stuff some rags under the old and new pumps to catch any spills. 5. Drain the old fuel pump into your gas tank.
