I believe that on these cars the entire electric fuel pump assembly is a single unit under the back seat with a metal plate that covers it.
under the hood on the drivers side is a fuse block it is under the air cleaner it is inside it
Just replace it.
it is in the car on the drivers side fuse box there will be 3 blue and i bownishe color if u look at the verry left u will find a gray pice and it will just be sitting on the left corner.
it's under the dash on the passenger side. you'll have to look up under the dash. i had to change out the blower motor relay on mine. it would only blow on speed 4.
If you've got no taillights, then its probably the relay. Its next to the battery under a black plastic cover. Flip the switch back and forth to see if you can hear it click. If it clicks and the lights are off, then a wire probably came loose or was eaten by a rodent. fix the wire. I think its green with a red stripe or something. Anyway, if its not that, get a new switch. Those were the two solutions I've dealt with. On the 84 300ZX it was the switch On the 86 200SX it was the switch On the 87 200Sx it was the green/red wire off the relay. Good luck!
