on my 1995 Ford Explorer, the fuel pump inertia switch is in the right front passenger area. It is below the dash, but right above the carpeted floor in the right hand corner.
It is located on the drivers side of the transmission. You will have to remove the linkage to replace it. There should be directions with the new switch.

Go to the ford website and download the owners manual for your vehicle the location of the reset switch is in there. I have a 1996 Limited Explorer and mine is located under the instrument panel the right hand side trim panel above the carpet.
