The fuel filter and the fuel tank air filter are both on the pump in the tank, which both shouldn't need to be replaced inless a service tech. advises you to do so. The info in the Hyundai manual was written by the specification of Korea, (where the vehicle was first made). Most, if not all the Hyundai Santa Fe vehicles made in the USA, were built with both in the tank. Korea built them on the outside of the tank, which ment they needed to be replaced every 30,000 miles. If you have any probloms with your fuel system try a little fuel cleaner, but if the problem does not go away after a couple days, you should call your local Hyundai dealer for service info.

What is the fuel tank air filter on Hyundai Sante Fe 2007?

The fuel tank air filter on a 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is apparently not to be confused with the fuel tank filter that is located in the fuel tank. The Fuel tank air filter is supposed to be located inside the car on the left side in the back of the car underneath a plastic door marked with a GAS Pump picture stamped on it. I found the door and opened it. However, I didn't see anything that looks like an air filter.
