It fits in the top of the fuel tank. You can either raise the bed up are drop the fuel tank to service it. Your choice.
In the fuel pump module located in the fuel tank,it can be purchased separate from the module.

Hard to tell the real question your are asking. The fuel quantity gauge sender is combined with the fuel pump, which is inside the gas tank. Tank must be removed, unless you have a pickup truck, in which case it may be easier to remive the bed.

I have 3 possible solutions: first, replace the speed sensor. it is located on top of the transmission. if this didnt work, then try replacing the speedometer. last but not least, if all these failed, replace the ecm.
remove fuel door, rubber boot, and then sender bolts at fuel fill. pull unit up and out. fuel pump is on the end of the pickup tube in tank.

Do you mean fuel sender? If you do it's located in the fuel tank and is a complete unit (pump & sending unit).
