On a 2001 Mercury Cougar :
In the Power Distribution Box ( which is " live " ) located in the engine
compartment
( Relay " R 1 " is the fuel pump relay )
The fuel pump relay located in the fuse/relay center under the hood.
no "reset switch" on these cars the powertrain control module controls the fuelpump via a relay
Rear passenger fender well
in rear of glove box behind small cover
its near the battery and it is a black box with 2 wiring plugs underneath it.
under the hood on the passenger side on the firewall behind a black plastic panel
Blown fuse, defective relay, loose or corroded wiring.Blown fuse, defective relay, loose or corroded wiring.
the oil pressure switch islocated at the topback of the engine behind and the distributor. the fuelpump relay is located on the driver side firewall next to the power brake boster. there are two of them the one on the left is the fuel pump relay the other relay is for the intake manifold tuning valve assembly.
The fuel pump relay switch on a 1996 Infiniti Q45 isn't very hard to find or get to. If you go to your passenger side and remove the kick panel you will see the fuel pump relay.

check your relay for the cooling fan and fuelpump
Since it is turning over and assuming there is fuel in the tank, the problem just may be with your fuelpump. Before you change it though, check your fuel filter, Fuel relay, and the line that runs power to your pump from the relay. Make sure that it is plugged in at the pump. If it is none of these, change the fuelpump, make sure to change the o-ring at the pump also.
