Headlight fuses for this generation Mazda 6 should be located in the engine compartment fuse box. Pull the lid off the fuse box and flip it over. There should be a diagram there etched in the plastic to tell you what each fuse is for.
You can find the fuse box diagram on page 6-10 of your owners manual.
If you look at the inside of the fuse box cover , there is a diagram of the fuses. This is true for the fuse box inside the car near hood latch release as well as the fuse box located under the hood between the air filter box and the battery.

That fuse controls the heater blower motor. That same motor is also used for the air conditioning. So if you want those to work you will need that fuse installed.
