The interior fuse box is located under the steering wheel. It is black and you might need a spanner to under the nut that is holding the top casing in place to get to the fuses and also the fuses in that fuse box are mini blade fuses and there shold be a little pair of tweezers inthe lid to remove the fuses.
Well, an X reg and Y reg car would be Made at 2001.

under the steering wheel there is a small enclosure which pulls open ideal for keeping sunglasses and small change inside the lid there are four screws each one requires a small turn with a screw driver. remove the enclosure abd the fuse panel is behind it
I believe that the 1.2 Corsa engine swapped to a chain driven cam with the move to the 'latest shape' cars - usually Y registration and onwards. A 2000 Corsa is the previous model and will, I reckon, have the belt driven cam. So, it's 4year/40,000 mile belt changes under vauxhall's latest recommendations.
Under the dash , on the drivers side
Sounds like either the fan speed switch or the fan motor itself might be bad.
New motor required, it's a problem with the corsa, i had the same, get one off eBay for half the price, it's under the bulk head under the bonet, you have to remove your wipers to remove the cover.
