There is another fuse box under the hood and next to the battery. This fuse controls the horn, dashboard lights, and the tail lights.
Tthe dashbord lights and tail lights are on the same circuit. On my 2000 Xterrra the 15a fuse is located in the fuse panel under the hood labeled 'TAIL'.
The dashboard is wired to the tail light circuit. The 15amp fuse is in under the hood fusebox passenger-side next to the battery and is labeled TAIL, but includes the dashboard running lights.
Turn on the dashboard lights, and start removing the fuses one by one. When the dashboard light turned off, that is the good fuse. If the dashboard fuse is burnt, start replacing the fuses one by one, and when the dashboard will light up that is the place of the burnt fuse.
Sounds like you blew a fuse.
Honda dashboard lights are powered by a single fuse. The taillight fuse keeps the dashboard, taillights and hazard lights safe. If any of this units cause a short all of the components will not work.
a fuse
Try parking/tailight fuse
The fuse probably blew that controls the dashboard lights.
Check the fuse box.
if your installed a new radio double check your wiring most likely the ground of the radio isn't wired right Or: The dashboard is wired to the tail light circuit and both are controlled by the same fuse. The 10amp fuse is in under the hood fusebox passenger-side next to the battery and is labeled TAIL, but includes the dashboard running lights.
