What would cause your fuse to blow when you turn on your lights on your 1993 mazda 323 the fuse to the tail lights on dash lights blow?
Is it just one of your lights or are both out. I just had my tail lights fixed today. Both were out. It wasn't a fuse. Mine was the running light module. Hopefully yours is just a fuse, that's a lot cheaper. I have an 03 Sedona.
check the fuse
The tail lights and the stop lights work off of different circuits. The stop lights work when the brake pedal is depressed while the tail lights work when the light switch is turned on. Look for a burnt fuse or a bad connection.
Same fuse as tail lights
for the tail lights all the other lights are working blanking lights brake lights and reverse lights but no tail lights on both side
Generally, dash lights and tail lights are on the same fuse so that if the tail fuse blows you'll know. When the tail light was "smashed", it shorted out the circuit and blew the fuse. You need to fix the tail light before you can get the dash lights to work.
