The cigarette lighter fuse on an Escort ZX2 is located in a secondary fuse panel just above the main passenger compartment fuse panel to left of the driver's left shin when sitting. You can only see it by getting your head down below the driver's seat level. It is black & about 3/4" x 2" in face area and can be slid forwards off its plastic mounting rails with a modicom of force. Once slid off, it is then easy to remove its cover and replace the "CIGAR" fuse, typically 20A. Cheers. BM, Ont. Canada
