I bought a 1994 silverado dash cluster, to put in my 1990 silverado because i was told it would fit. I took the old one out, and was going to put the 1994 silverado cluster in, but the plug in the back was not the same, but I have been told several times that it would work, so i am not sure, perhaps the plug can be changed With the first answer, im not sure about the plugs. But everything else from an 88-98 interchange so i don't see why it wouldn't
It is possible, but there is a large difference in the dash/wiring/etc. Besides the dash, the wirhing harness for the dash as well as the harness for the motor and the radio harness will need to be changed.
Answer: I assume you mean the radio clock light stays on after you turn the key to the off position. Based on my research there are there are three things that can cause this.First, there is the possibility of a bad diode in the radio itself which will require the replacing or disconnecting the radio.Second, there is a short somewhere causing the clock to stay on. Finding such short can be a hassle and it might be easier simply to disconnect the clock then trying to find the short. Finally, there is the (rare) possibility that the Body Control Module (BCM) has gone bad but this is unlikely if this is the only issue you are having.
