behind the drivers side tail fin .Right above the tail lite there is a gas door.
Thru the fuel-filler nozzle...
The fuel tank filler neck is the metal pipe attached to the rear fender that you insert the gas nozzle into to fill your tank.
Generally this happens because of the amount of gas flowing from the nozzle. The nozzle "trips" due to back pressure. When the tank is full, gas pushes back on the nozzle and it shuts off. If the amount of fuel coming out of the nozzle fills up the filler tube going to your tank it also will cause back pressure and shut off the nozzle.
NO it can not as there is a check valve located in the filler neck.
Open fuel filler door, remove gas cap, turn on pump, insert gasoline nozzle into fuel filler opening, squeeze handle and fill tank.
Possible blockage in fuel filler neck or hose, possible blockage in vent hose.
To open the filler cover, pull up on the lever inside the center console (between the seats). After that remove the gas cap, insert the gas pump nozzle, and fill 'er up.
Could be the filler neck hose or tank vent hose is pinched or blocked.
pull the filler nozzle out about 1 inch or so, so air can get into the tank
On a 2012 Ford Taurus : It has Fords " Easy Fuel " system ( so it has no gas cap ) its self sealing Open the fuel filler door and insert the gasoline pump nozzle
theres a sensor on the nozzle of the gas filler, so sometimes when you have it in to far or tilted a certain way it cuts off as if it was "overfilling". happens to me too. doesnt have anything to do with your car.
The nozzle that the burner tubing connects to allows gas to enter into the burner. Also, the nozzle has a lever that allows you to control how much gas will flow into the burner.
