On the driver side of the car under the passenger door next to the frame. It has a couple clips you take off and then put on the new one. If I can do it anyone can. A little gas will leak out so have a rag handy to catch the leaks. Hope this helps.
its easy located on the pass side of car under hood sze of a pop can 2 lines just follow the line from the fuel rail to the filter
fuel filter is on drivers side on the line against the frame.
On the outside of the tank underneath the car. Easy to change but messy with gas, so get something for the gas to leak into, or hold the line with your finger (if you can) while changing out the filter i guess. lo
You'll need a special tool (available at a parts store) to take off the filter. The tool releases the filter from the fuel line fittings. Sometimes it's easy to take off the filter and sometimes it difficult. Needle nose pliers won't work.
sorry there is no filter on the mk vii. but ther is a orifice tube with a screen pressed in the liquid line it kina acts like a filter and a expansion valve
PASSENGER SIDE FRONT OF REAR WHEEL IN FRAME RAIL
Usually under the vehicle - follow the fuel line from the tank
were the fuel line comes out of the tank running to the throtle body
what are you trying to improve???
Look under vehicle- follow the fuel line from the tank
Check the feeder line right after the fuel tank. Fallow this line, it is a"line filter",meaning a small canister with a nipple on either side. Also check back from inlet on fuel injection rail. .
