where is the glow plug fuse on a1995 masda bongo
Glow is probably for "glow plug" which is a diesel engine application. If your vehicle isn't diesel, it had that option as an engine, so that fuse would be found empty in your vehicle. If your vehicle is a diesel, a blown fuse here would lead to a "hard to start"or "no start" issue.
The 1991 Dodge diesel truck glow plug relay is located in the fuse box. The fuse box is located behind the battery box. The glow plug relay will be in the right upper corner of the box.
they are under the valve covers
Next to the fuse box
Inside cab, to the left of the steering column under the dash is the relay / fuse panel. On that panel is the glow plug relay.
glow plugs do not fire glow plugs are used to heat the chamber where the diesel ignites diesel is not ignited by a spark diesel is ignited thru compression
i dont no where the relay is . but the fuse for the instrument panel warning lights is behind the glovebox is f2 and is a 5amp fuse
Depends on which diesel you are talking about. A 1993 or earlier the glow plugs located outside edge of the heads below the valve cover. 1994 through early 2003, the 7.3 turbo diesel engines the glow plugs are located in the heads but under the valve cover. You will need to remove the valve cover to retrieve the glow plugs. Basically the non turbo diesels have the glow plugs outside edge of the heads. In all turbo diesels you have to remove the valve covers to get to the glow plugs.
the glow plugs are located inside the the valve covers on the engine' the wire harness goes thru the cover gaskets.so this is a major job.if you break a gasket while removing, they cost about $70 , each to replace. you also need special tools to remove glow plugs. it is much easier and safer to take the truck to a reputable diesel mechanic.
no glow plugs
The Cummins diesel in a Dodge Ram does not have glow plugs, it uses an intake heater grid.
