I have a 1995 Vandura and power sofa fuse is under hood. There is a fuse block there too with iterior electronic gizmos on it.
check your horn fuse not sure why but they are interconnected
under dash, far left
Left driver side, it has a access door.
You can get help with your 1983 GMC fuse block identification at most GMC dealerships. Many auto-parts stores can also help you with the fuse block identification.
There ain't one
It does not take freon. The 1995 GMC Vandura uses the new R134a.
On my 1989, it is the round silver module in the fuse panel under the dash on the drivers side
there are actually 3 fuses ( that i have found) 2 are in the fuse panel below and to the left of the steering column marked ac and auxilary ac/heat. my 1993 g3500 vandura also has an inline 20 amp fuse wired in between the fuse panel and the rear blower motor switch.
No, the GMC Vandura is a van. If you have the Starcraft conversion, the van is technically considered a station wagon for insurance purposes (much cheaper).
The ECM on the Vandura 2500 is under the Driver's seat.
Chances are its your headlight switch if the fuse is good. It can also be your dimmer switch.
