Coolant temperature sensor is located under hood, passenger side, upper engine area, mounted in front side of water outlet. Access is very easy if you remove the alternator, but it can be done with the alternator still in place. There are 2 sensors, one that is sending the information to the gauge from the control panel (on the century limited version), and the second one (the one to the right) is sending the info to the ECM. If you have problems with an overheating engine, or the fan is not starting when it supposed to, try replacing the sensor.
