Answer Crankshaft Pos. Sensor 1997 AccenI have the Haynes repair manual for 1986 thru 1998 Hyundai Excel and Accent. The CKP is incorporated in the distributor body in 1994 and earlier models, if faulty, the complete distrbutor assembly will have to be replaced. On 1995 and later models the CKP is located at the rear of the engine near the transaxle bell housing. I have a 1996 Accent 1.5L. It is located between the radiator and front of the engine block. It can be accessed from the top. In my case I had to remove the air intake and radiator in order to get to the one Philips head screw that holds it in. Good luck, hope this helped.
