The coils are mounted on the top of the valve covers and they have spark plug wires coming out of them and going to the spark plugs. V-8 has 8 and the V-6 has 6
no
NO it does not. If it's not firing then you need to check the ignition module, pick-up coil and the coil. Could just have a bad coil wire......
Unplugging the coil wire and not grounding it, yes that can damage the coil.
It is on the left side of the engine. You will see a coil and that is the module also. It is one unit.
check the pink wire to coil maybe's brocken
The 2002 Toyota Tacoma ignition coil is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The coil will be on the drivers side of the firewall.
Its right above the ignition coil. Infact you have to remove it first to remove the ignition coil.
That is the ignition coil.
well it is the bottom that goes on a ignition coil and it is locoed
The coil is attached to the top of the distributor cap.
The 1991 did not have a CAM OR CRANKSHAFT SENSOR. If you have NO spark then the problem would be 1 of these. BAD ignition module, Hole burnt in the rotor, Bad pick-up coil, bad ignition coil, Coil wire. Check these things out. Start with the ignition module. That's the MOST common problem.
check your ignition coil, if it's not coming out of there you need to look into a new ignition coil , check ignition circuit next
