The 60-pin ignition module should be mounted in the engine bay on the firewall or fender (varies by year/model.)

It is part of the pump module in the tank.
Inside the PCM, far pass side under hood, on the firewall.
The ignition module on a 1989 5.7 liter is located in the distributor. Remove the cap, then the rotor, and you will be looking at the module. The module is held in place with two screws. Real simple. Good luck, David
The 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 body control module is located on the firewall in the engine compartment. The body control module can be found on the drivers side of the firewall.
