There are quite a few of light bulbs on the instrument panel. You get to them from the back of the panel. Some instrument panels can be disconnected and pulled forward enough to get to the back, other panels have to be worked on "in place".
The turn signal flasher on a 1977 Ford custom truck is behind the instrument panel. The instrument panel is located to the right of the steering wheel.
there is no gauge that shows trans temp, but there is an indicator light on instrument panel that will light up "trans temp" if abnormal
On most models it is mounted in the center of the dash under the main fuse panel which is located under where the cb sets. At least that is where it is in my truck.

you open the truck or hatch and there should be a panel that comes off and u take it off and twist the light out change the bulb and place the light back in and put the panel back on the panel should be located on the inside of where the brake light is at

The alternator light circuit is different from the charging part. The charging part goes to the battery, while the light part goes to the instrument panel. There seems to be a grounded wire in the light circuit.
you have to do it through the truck there should be a panel that comes off and you remove the panel and twist the light off that should be the way if im correct
yes, there was a recall on instrument panel. specifically the speedometer/odometer would malfunction... I received the recall in the mail and had it taken care of at dealer with no cost
The panel light dimmer switch is turned off. The panel light fuse is blown. The panel light bulbs are blown out.
