truck (tire) jack for a 2000 ford f250 is iunder the back seat on the passenger side. if a single cab, it is either behind the seat or on the passenger side fender under the hood. the handles to operate the jack lie along the top of the radiator

The jack should be located under the hood, on the passenger side.
Fold the top of the right rear seat forward. Open the door behind the seat. The jack is inside.
The on / off switch for the air compressor would be in the cargo area , on the drivers side , near the liftgate , where the vehicle jack is stored behind the removable plastic panel on a 2000 Ford Explorer
In my 03 ranger it is behind the seats in the side compartment, the bottom panel just pops out and theres a small compartment.
I bought one of those jack rods for my 1998 Ford Expedition XLT at the local dealer for under $20.00.
