Each vehicle with keyless entry has its own factory code
No , just the factory code and a personal code if it has been entered
Your Sable will have keyless entry if there is a numbered access keypad mounted under the driver's door handle on the outside of the door. Your owners manual will have the default code for using the keypad and will also have instructions on how to program a personal code.
The keyless entry code is located below the driver window on the exterior
The code is usually on a label inside of one of the Trunk Lift Rods. Some owners write it in the Owner's Manual and there is sometimes a Card in the Owners Manual with the Code on it. If it's not in any of these places you will need to go to a Dealership to get the Master Code. Good Luck.
If you have the driver-side keypad and know your code, just enter your code and then press 5.
Each vehicle with keyless entry has it's own factory code
It is printed on the computer which is normally under the kick panel or mounted against the rear seat in the trunk.
Trouble code P0172 means: System Too Rich (Bank 1)
blowen white smoke and gas
Trouble code P1744 means: Torque Converter Clutch Solenoid Circuit Performance
there is a "wallet card" which has the code on it, if you do not have this card you will need to bring the car into a Mercury dealer and they will "plug it in" and retrieve the factory preset code.
