There is 2 of them, and they are underneith the intake manifold. You can't get to them are even see them until the intake is removed. Bad design on chevys part.
The knock sensor is located under the Intake Manifold and there is a knock sensor 1/ knock sensor 2 on this model,the 2 is the one in the rear.
A knock sensor is a low voltage sensor that sends information to the ecm, and then the ecm makes changes in order to try and control the knocking. In my experience all knock sensors are located on the engine somewhere because that's where the knocking occours.
