There's 2 of them and there both underneith the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to even see them.

That engine has 2 knock sensors on it and both of them are underneith the intake manifold. You can not see are get to them until the intake has been removed.
On a 2004 GMC Sierra with a 5.3 engine, the knock sensor is locatede under the intake manifold. You have to remove the intake to get to them. There is 2 of them, so it might be better to change them both while it is apart.

That engine has 2 of them and they both are underneith the INTAKE. You can't see or even get to them until you remove the intake.
I found in a google search 15ftlbs torque for the knock sensor.

A knock sensor is located in a specific area on the block or cylinder head in order to sense spark knock occuring and send a signal to the ECM to retard the timing. Relocating the knock sensor would defeat its purpose.
