There are 2 of them on that engine and there underneith the intake manifold. You can not see are get to them until you remove the intake.
I found in a google search 15ftlbs torque for the knock sensor.

The intake air temperature sensor on a 2004 Silverado is located in the 5 wire MAF sensor coming from the air fiter box. It can be relocated by cutting and splicing the tan and black wires going to the MAF sensor.
A knock sensor is located in a specific area on the block or cylinder head in order to sense spark knock occuring and send a signal to the ECM to retard the timing. Relocating the knock sensor would defeat its purpose.

If it is a v-8 then it has 2 of them and they both are underneith the intake manifold. You can not see are get to them until you remove the intake. If it is a V-6 then it is on the back top left corner of the engine block. It is hard to see.
