Slide in under the truck behind the passenger side front wheel and look up at the side of the engine and just in front of the starter you will see it screewed into the side of the engine block. It will be round and have an electric wire pluged into it. When you remove it, antifreeze will come out from the hole that it is screewed into.
It is located on the side of the Engine block.
it is located on the side of the engine block.
That is the knock sensor
the knock sensor is located on the driver side of the engine right under the intake it is about 1 in. it is connected so you will have to unplug it and then just screw it off
under the lower intake manifold
Need to know what engine it has.
behind the engine,in front of the transmission, about half way up the side of the block, its very hard to see its near the knock sensor.
As you are looking at your truck from the front the knock sensor shoud be on the passenger side right under the manifolds
to the rite and just below the coil
The knock sensor on a Chevy Celebrity 2.8 L engine from 1987 thru 1990 is located on the back side of the engine(next to the firewall) below the exhaust manifold. There are actually two sensors there, one is the knock sensor, the other is the crankshaft position sensor. The knock sensor is threaded into the block with a pipe thread, the crankshaft position sensor is held in with a 10 mm screw and is near the center of the block. They are both accessible with the engine in the car, but they are a bit of a pain to get to.l
back center of the block right above the oil pan it has 2 wires going to the one above it with one wire is the knock sensor
The knock Sensor in a 1989-1992 Toyota cressida is located under the intake manifold, closer and under the cold start injecter. Behind the alternater. i had to use a small mirror to see it, or you can put your hand under and search for it.
