New Answer : 1999 and older you will find it screewed into the passenger side of the engine block just in front of the starter.
Late 1999 to date V-8 engines have 2 knock sensors and they are both underneith the intake manifold. You will have to remove the intake to service them.
Late 1999 to date V-6 engines have them screewed into the left back top part of the engine where the transmission bolts to the engine block. Standing in the front of the engine it will be on the LEFT side.
