There is 2 of them and they both are underneith the intake manifold.
You will have to remove the intake to service them and to even see them.

Knock Sensor On your 1992 Toyota Truck Previa 2WD (2.4L FI DOHC), the Knock Sensor is located: Front seating area, center, under engine cover, passenger side of engine, under intake manifold, mounted in engine block
It is screwed into the passenger side of the engine block just in front of the starter. It will have an electric wire pluged into it.
The 1992 Chevy 5.7 liter engine IAT sensor can be found on the back of the engine. The IAT sensor will be near the top of the transmission.
Up in the front of the engine where the timing cover is on the right side of it this will be the cam sensor it does not have a crank sensor.
Severe spark knock (pinging) can damage the engine. Knock sensors detect spark knock (pinging) in the engine. They send that info to the ECM (Engine Control Module). The ECM makes temporary adjustments in engine timing to eliminate the spark knock.
