next to stater is where slave cyl. is bleeder is under passanger side
You can bleed the clutch by loosening the fluid line. With the line loose pump the brakes until fluid comes out.
how do I bleed the clutch system in a 2004 ford ranger
same as bleeding the air in the clutch line for any other car -stab the air.
You need to bleed your clutch master cylinder line.
There is no clutch adjustment. The clutch is hydralic and therefore needs no adjustment. If the clutch isn't working correctly you most likely have to bleed the clutch line.
Bleed the slave cyl. It probebly has air in the line or no fluid.
Look at the same location as the clutch line going into the trans, but on the other side ( passengers side ) the bleed valve will be on a line exiting the bell housing top passengers side. Remove the access panels around your shifter and you will see them both, and another nifty thing is that with it right there you can bleed the clutch without help.
hydraulic clutch does not have adjustment. replace the clutch it has a slave cylinder underneath and what you do is pump up the clutch and then hold it and have somone turn the line going itno th slave cylinder until you have clear fluid that is not how you bleed a clutch to the jeep owner, if you know how to bleed brakes on a vehicle, then you know how to bleed the clutch on a vehicle both done the same way.now if no parts of the clutch, such as master or slave cylander have been touched or let run out of fluid, there is still no need to bleed as that will not be the problem you might look at the linkage on the slave cylander. sometimes there is nylon bushing on the cylander rod that wears out. replace this bushing which is easy to do and your clutch will be good again.
if its hydraulic there could be air in your line. bleed your clutch and refill.
Follow the clutch hydraulic line down to the bell housing. Note where the hydraulic line goes into the bell housing and if there is no bleed valve there you may need to remove a cover. Have a friend/assistant step on the clutch while you open the bleed valve. Close the valve and have the friend let up on the clutch. Do that a few times (making certain that the hydraulic fluid remains full) and you're done.
in a 1998 kia sportage 4x4 can you show me how, to fix the cooling system, and why does it over heat, please show me a manual book , how to fix this problem.
Bleed the clutch line that runs from the clutch master cylinder to the slave cylinder utilizing the bleed valve on the slave cylinder.
