Hi, The heater core is under the dash but down low . You have to take apart some of the heater ductwork to get to it. I'm curious as to why you need to get the heate rcore? Is your heat mnot coming out? Is there fluid dripping under the dash, because that can mean the core or a hose is leaking. If you would please add a bit more then we can guide a bit more. it should be below the radio in the heater box . must remove entire dash
The 1997 Geo Tracker block heater does have a frost plug. The Frost plug will be a few inches below the block heater.

The 1996 Geo Prizm heater core is located behind the kick plate on the passenger side of the passenger compartment. The kick plate will need to be removed in order to view the heater core.

You cannot fix or repair a heater core you must replace the complete unit with a new one...........

The heater fuse for a 1993 Geo Tracker is located in the fuse box that is inside the engine compartment on top of the battery. It would also be a good idea to check the wires on the heater relay that is on the passenger side of the engine compartment on the fender wall. It is just behind the washer fluid receptacle.
