The Mass Air Pressure sensor is located at the top rear of the engine, close to the firewall. Remove the Vortec engine cover (I believe it's an 8mm), and from the driver's side, find the rear-most sensor connection (it has 3 wires), and follow it. The sensor looks like this:
The 1995 Chevy Silverado coolant sensor is located on the front of the engine. The coolant sensor will be a few inches above the thermostat housing.
The knock 1 sensor on a Vortec 4.8 is located on the top of the engine. You will have to remove the intake to gain access to replace it.
The 2002 Silverado 4.8 liter engine knock sensor is located on the back of the crankshaft. The back engine cover will need to be removed in order to view the sensor.
The knock sensor is located on top of the block in a 4.8 2002 engine. The intake will have to be removed to get to the sensor.
Apparently, there is none. They started using them in 1996.
The crankshaft sensor on a 2001 Chevy Silverado 8100 is located on the bottom of the engine, near the starter. It constantly monitors where the crankshaft is in its rotation.
The intake temperature sensor is located on the side of the air filter case on a 2003 Chevy Silverado 4.3 1500. It is on the top of the engine.
The Camshaft sensor is located in the distributor.
It's located with the MAF sensor on top of the air intake just after the air filter box.
